Petra

We traveled with a large group of mostly couples to Jordan and Israel.
On Feb 4, we rode a bus to Houston to catch a flight to Turkey then Amman, Israel. Even though the flight started February 4th, we did not arrive at the hotel until late February 5th.
We stayed at the Mövenpick Hotel Amman. On the 6th, we drove three hours to get to Petra (Wadi Musa).
We saw the infamous Treasury, which is HUGE. The bottom was roped off so that people would not enter.
Nabataeans settled in this land by 312 BC with Petra as its cultural center.
